Swati Pasari
Swati Pasari has established herself as one of the most prominent young artists in Asia today. Young and energetic, Swati Pasari started painting in 2007 and held her first exhibition by 2008. Since then, she has participated in dozens of exhibitions in India, as well as other parts of Asia and Europe. Her artistic creations display an immense artistic maturity. For Swati, the act of creating a work of art involves following a particular train of thought until it is translated seamlessly into the artistic creation. When she paints, it is more like letting her emotions flow without any obstruction. Swati's artwork is typically painted in bright and colorful hues that instantly radiate happiness and peace. Swati's works include both original acrylic paintings and hand-painted acrylic on fiberglass sculpture. Recurring themes of the Buddha, Radha Krishna, and Ganesh reflect her spiritual approach to the creative process. “Being a Pranic healer besides being a full-time artist, I enter a different dimension when I paint, so much so that I do not know what the painting will be till it’s done,” she explains. “When I look at the painting, there is an inner feeling of being complete. I see a complete reflection of my thoughts in the painting and that’s how I realize that it is done.”
